In-Club Etiquette Recommendations and Best Practices
From Day One - the priority of The Golf Reserve has been to provide a comfortable, safe, and technologically advanced place for golfers to get better. We have a strong belief that the best clubs are the ones that focus on membership and creating community - because members and communities care about doing what is right for the greater good of the experience for all.
Below are some general etiquette guidelines and best practices that will help all of our players and members have the best experience possible when using one of our golf suites.
-
When booking your suite, consider the number of players who will be part of your reservation. If you plan to have less than three players during peak times (weekday afternoons and/or weekend mornings and midday), consider opting for Suite 1. This will ensure that groups with more than 2 players have a safe place to practice.
Make sure all of your guests have completed their liability waiver prior to entering the facility.
If you have to cancel a reservation, please do so by either updating it within the system or texting to 602-353-7742 to notify us so we can re-open the spot for other players.
Only book appointments you are confident you will be able to make. This helps to ensure that late cancellations don’t affect other’s ability to book who are able to make those times.
-
When others are joining you in-suite, make sure to test your takeaway/backswing. Be sure every person is comfortable and can safely avoid being struck. Use the open space between booths to place bags and keep walkways as open as possible.
Refrain from placing bags directly in the path of the corridor outside the suite. Ensure that others in the club can easily pass through the corridor without having to navigate around your party’s golf bags.
Make sure others in attendance in your reservation are comfortable with use of real tees during your session. These tees have a tendency to ricochet wildly and can make the viewing experience unnerving. When in doubt, use the plastic green Bir-Tees with others in the space.
When using the TVs in-suite, be mindful of volume. If there is a reservation in the adjoining suite, 10-12 volume is sufficient to respect other players.
Music is always permitted on personal devices but at a reasonable volume. Also, refrain from music with vulgar or foul lyrics to respect others in the surrounding suites.
-
Pick up all tees and remnants from the turf. Functional tees should be put back while broken tees should be thrown into the trash receptacle.
Discard all food and snack wrappers. Larger food cartons and bags should be put in the large receptacle in the back of the facility near the restrooms.
Pour out drinks in the bathroom sink before disposing of them so that liquids and odor don’t accumulate in the in-suite trash receptacles.
Put all tables back and wipe up any spills.
Remember to put the Falcon back into ‘Ball Only Mode’ and return the software back to the main menu for the next player
