Using Club & Ball Mode on the Foresight Falcon
How to Get Club Head Data In-Suite Using the Foresight Falcon
The Foresight Falcon delivers performance insights using directly measured data, not estimations or algorithms. Every metric you see is captured in real time by high-speed imaging, ensuring exceptional accuracy and consistency.
While ball data is captured natively by the Falcon, club head data requires the use of reflective markers—known as fiducials. These markers enable the system to track the club through impact and unlock advanced metrics, including:
Club Path
Face Angle
Impact Location
Dynamic Loft
1. Step 1: Marking your clubs (Fiducial Markers)
To capture club data, apply fiducials to your club face. There are two configurations available, depending on the level of detail you want:
Single Marker Configuration
A single marker placed at the center-top of the club face provides basic club data, such as club head speed.
Four-Marker Configuration
A four-marker layout—applied based on club type (irons vs. woods)—enables full club data capture, including path, face angle, and impact metrics.
A detailed walkthrough on proper marker placement and use of the in-suite fiducial dispensers (located near each tee) is available in the video below
2. Step 2: Setting Club and Ball Mode on the Falcon
Depending on which platform you are playing – FSX Play or GS Pro – players can easily modify the Falcon’s settings for it adjust from ‘Ball only’ to ‘Club and Ball’ mode.
For FSX Play Users:
Open Settings
From the main menu, select the menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner, then choose “Settings.”Access Device Controls
Navigate to General Settings → DevicesEnable Club Mode
On the Falcon device panel, toggle “Club Mode” OnConfirm Activation
Verify the Falcon indicator light is greenReturn to Play
Use the back arrow to return to the main menuTo disable Club Mode, follow the same steps above and toggle it Off.
Always turn Club Mode off before ending your session—not all players will be using marked clubs
For GS Pro Users:
Launch GSPro
Open GSPro from the taskbar on the projector screen only.
(Do not open on the side monitor—this will prevent proper function.)Start a Session
Click “Play.”Move the Connection Manager
When the Foresight Sports / Bushnell Connection Manager appears on the projector screen, click and drag the top bar to the side monitor.Enable Club Data
Select the “Connection Manager” tab
Click “Enable Club Data”
Confirm the Falcon indicator light turns green
Reset for the Next Player
Before exiting, disable “Enable Club Data” to ensure the system is ready for the next user.General Notes:
If you enter a suite and have “Club Mode” active, note that it will not prevent you from playing ‘markerless’ but it will effect the playable zones/areas of the hitting mat. Use the guidance above to fix the issue if you find the hitting zones to be too restrictive.
