  • Welcome to The Founder’s Cup - Presented by Taco Cinco. APRIL 9-APRIL 23

    The Founder’s Cup is an annual event that coincides with the start of events in Augusta each spring as players at The Golf Reserve tee-off in a stroke-play event featuring The Magnolia National Golf Club on the FSX Play platform.

    This event is well-suited for all levels of players with multiple ways to win and compete in the tournament.

  • This 18-hole championship course inspired by the renowned Augusta National is one of the finest courses available on the FSX Play platform. It’s the perfect setting for The Golf Reserve’s first annual Tournament.

    The following course settings are required as part of tournament play:

    COURSE AND SETTINGS (AUTO SET IN TOURNAMENT PLAY)

    • MAGNOLIA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB (FSX PLAY)

    • TEES: Gold Tees

    • WEATHER AND TIME OF DAY

      • MORNING

      • 0 WIND

      • 0 WIND DIRECTION

    • NO MULLIGANS

    • LIE PENALTY: ON

    • PIN DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM

    • GIMME = 12FT

    • MODE = BALL ONLY (BLUE LED)

  • FORMAT:

    • Stroke Play ; 18-holes

    • All competition is based on gross score (raw score)

    • Each player completes one 18-hole round

    • Lowest scores win (9 winners)

    TIE BREAKER CRITERIA:

    1. Lowest score on holes 10–18

    2. Then holes 13–18

    3. Then holes 16–18

    4. Then hole 18

    STANDARDS OF PLAY:
    One round per player

    • Round must be completed in a single session

    • No mulligans

    • Gimme distance: 12FT.

    • Tournament-submission round must be completed between April 9 - April 23.

  • MEMBERS:

    • On or before 4/9: $45

    • After 4/9 = $60

    NON-MEMBERS:

    • Before or on 4/9: $60

    • After 4/9: $75

    • The tournament registration window will close on 4/15/2026 at 10PM

    • All Tournament-Registered non-members will receive 30% off the cost of their rounds through April 30, 2026.

    • All tournament fees are in addition to any applicable simulator reservation fees.

    • MUST PLAY ENTIRE ROUND IN ONE SESSION . PLEASE BOOK DURATION ACCORDINGLY. IF NECESSARY, EXTEND YOUR SESSION IF TIME PERMITS.

    • MIS-HITS HAPPEN IN SIMULATORS AND IS A RISK TO ALL PLAYERS EQUALLY. MIS-HITS OR TECHNOLOGY FAILURES TO CAPTURE BALL DATA ARE KNOWN RISKS TO SIMULATOR PLAY AND WILL NOT LEAD TO ADJUSTMENT OF RULES, SCORING, OR REFUND. THERE IS NO PLAY UNDER PROTEST PROVISION.

      • IF IN-SUITE TECH RENDERS THE SESSION UNPLAYABLE, THE SESSION WILL BE VOIDED AND THE PLAYER IS ELIGIBLE TO RESTART THEIR ROUND ONCE A FUNCTIONING SIMULATOR IS AVAILABLE TO PLAY.

    • TOURNAMENT FEES:

    • Tournament fees are non-refundable and are subject to sales tax.

    • Failure to complete your round or participate in the tournament for any reason following tournament fee payment will not warrant a refund of tournament fees.
